What type of Gmail data do we access and why?
Sofiapp LLC requests read-only access to your Gmail emails. This allows us to send them to our Artificial Intelligence providers (OpenAI & Gemini) for analysis, and if the LLM determines it is a transaction that needs to be recorded, we only record the transaction data returned by the AI. We do not store the full content of your emails, nor do we modify their content.
How is my personal and email data used?
Your personal information (name, country, currency) is used to personalize your experience within Sofiapp LLC. Your email data is only processed to provide the automatic expense tracking service. We do not use this information for advertising, marketing, nor do we combine it with other purposes unrelated to Sofiapp LLC's main functionality.
How do you protect my information?
We have implemented robust technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect your personal information and Gmail data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. This includes data encryption, strict access controls, and ongoing security reviews.
Can I revoke access to my emails at any time?
Absolutely! You have full control over your permissions. You can revoke Sofiapp LLC's access to your emails at any time directly from your Google account settings. See the "Apps with access to your account" section in your Google account to manage these permissions.

We do not sell, share, or distribute personal information or your email data to third parties. We will only disclose information when strictly required by law (e.g., a valid court order), in the case of legal investigations, or to protect our legal rights or the safety of our users, always within legal limits and Google's policies.
